RealEstate CE Alumni Spotlight for December: Shelly Morrow

"The course was very easy to navigate and easy to understand. I will be using RealEstateCE again!" - Shelly Morrow

"Very informative class! Information was easy to understand. Very satisfied with this class!" - Shelly Morrow

Shelly has been in the real estate business for 3-years and is a real estate agent in Jasper, Georgia with 515 Life Real Estate Company. Shelly plans on getting her Broker's license soon and is excited to give other agents an opportunity to work in this field, as their Broker.

Shelly had always worked in social services and had taken some time off. After trying a job in corporate and hating it, she felt like she needed to make a decision on whether to go back into social services/counseling. She decided to make the switch to real estate. She also finds that her training in social services and counseling plays a part in real estate as well!

She loves being a part of making people's dreams come true, especially first time home buyers. Shelly loves meeting new people and becoming a part of their story and has made a lot of new friends along the way.

We Ask Shelly

How do you see yourself making a difference in real estate?

"The thing I strive for most is making people feel at peace during what can be a happy, but stressful time. Above all, I want each of my clients to walk away knowing I was in their corner and that they were represented well. Also, that they are more than clients, they have become friends! If I can do that, I feel like I have made a difference in their lives. People don't forget how you made them feel. :)"

"It isn't anything like the way you imagined it would be! Sometimes it can be stressful, but most times it brings much joy. No two transactions are the same, so sometimes you have to be creative in finding what works for all people involved. But even when things seem challenging, remember why you are doing this.....to help people's dreams of home ownership to come true. All in all, RE is a great career to be in."

Where do most of your leads come from and which marketing strategies work best for you?

Word of mouth, which in my opinion are the best leads and biggest compliment! Social Media and just being real with people. I find being sincere and showing people that you really care markets itself.
