When a real estate professional makes the choice to join a local REALTOR® association or board, they agree to abide by the Code of Ethics.  The Code of Ethics was adopted in 1913 and helped make the real estate industry a more trustworthy business.

It is because of this importance that the National Association of REALTORS® requires Ethics training every 2-years. The current 2-year cycle ends on December 31, 2018.
